Reading is great. Reading is important. Reading is everything… and if the read is comprehensible, it’s even better, as Stephen Krashen would say. 😉
Speaking of reading + listening, I once caught myself on the thought that it really worked for me if I read a book in English and listened to its Russian audio version at the same time — the narrator and the translation should be right, of course. I was reading Coetzee’s «Disgrace» at that time. Have ever tried that?
