Dear Dmitry,
I was interested to read about error correction in your blog, and I agree with every word in it.
However, I`d like to share my experience with you. First of all,if it`s an accuracy activity, I correct each mistake because if you correct only some of them, the learner will be misled thinking that the rest as right. If it`s a fluency activity, I tell them that I`m not going to correct them and their task is to understand and be understood. It`s absolutely ok if they make mistakes as long as they can keep up the conversation. Moreover, I don`t help them in this kind of activities, which makes them more independent of the teacher and they learn to find alternative ways of expressing something in English.
I could continue if I was sure you interested to hear my point of view.
Thank you.
